THESIS - KEBIJAKAN OTONOMI DAERAH DALAM RANGKA PENINGKATAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI SMP NEGERI 1 RANDUDONGKAL KABUPATEN PEMALANG JAWA TENGAH
ABSTRACT
To improve the quality of education in Indonesia, in this study the authors questioned how the implementation of government policies in the field of educatiaon in the areas outlined in the autonomy, the authers rais the question a thesis entitled Regional Autonomy Policy in the Context of Education Quality Improvement in SMP Negeri 1 Randuaongkal Pemalang Regency Central Java". The problem of this research is how the implementation of regional autonomy in improving the quality of national education in SMP Negeri 1 Randudongkal Pemalang Regency Central Java
Data collection techniques used were interviews, library research and documentation. The approach used in this study was a descriptive qualitative. Based on the analysis, concluded that in general the Autonomous Region in the Context of Quality Improvement of Education in SMP Negeri 1 Randudongkal Pemalang Regency Central Java runs have been effective. In terms of policy is very helpful to schools in managing educational institutions independently to develop the school into an national level and improve the quality of schools, but to achieve all this there must be experts from the field of education management.
Viewed from the impact resulting from this policy has increased the quality of education especially students' achievement, with the benchmark average of the acquistion results of National Examination and Testing of School Year 2009. This information can be made in reference materials, both for the manager in SMP Negeri 1 Randudongkal Pemalang Regency and for the enthusiasts who will carry aut this policy in their respective regions.
